Hobart City Tour

On this sightseeing driving tour of Hobart with your guide, you'll learn about the discovery of Tasmania and the founding of Australia's oldest city and the capital of Tasmania - Hobart (the second-oldest settled city in Australia after Sydney).

  • Australia's oldest brewery, Cascade Brewery (1824)
  • 19th-century churches built of natural stone: St David's Cathedral, St Mary's Cathedral, St George's Church and Australia's oldest synagogue
  • the historic town of Richmond
  • the Mount Wellington lookout (1270m) with panoramic views over Hobart, the river mouth and the ocean (weather permitting)

Time and interest permitting, you can also taste fine Tasmanian wines at a local winery, or cheese or beer at a local producer (paid on the day)
